The tomb of Maulana Jalaluddin Rumi (often referred to as Maulana Jalaluddin or simply Rumi) is a world-renowned pilgrimage site located in Konya, Turkey.
Key Facts About the Tomb
The Mevlâna Museum: Formerly the dervish lodge (tekke) where Rumi lived and taught, the complex was converted into a museum in 1927.
The Green Dome: Its most iconic feature is the Yeşil Türbe (Green Tomb), a cylindrical tower topped by a conical, turquoise-tiled dome.
Resting Place: Rumi is buried in a sarcophagus covered in gold-embroidered velvet, placed directly beneath the dome. He lies beside his father, Bahauddin Walad.
Epitaph: A famous inscription on the tomb reads: "When we are dead, seek not our tomb in the earth, but find it in the hearts of men".
Cultural Significance: The site includes a mosque, a ritual hall for the Sema (whirling dervish ceremony), and the tombs of other Mevlevi dervishes.
Annual Commemoration: Every year on December 17, the anniversary of his death (known as Şeb-i Arûs or the "Wedding Night"), thousands gather at the tomb to celebrate his "union with the Divine".

A peaceful and meaningful stop, absolutely worth visiting.
Mevlana Türbesi karşısındaki müzelik odalar kapıları kısa yapılması bence yanlış Çünkü oradan çıkan biri Mevlana türbesine rücu etmiş oluyor ve bu da şeriat tarafından yanlış oraya ziyaret eden Müslümanlara dikkatle tavsiyem
