The officials showed an alarming absence of ethical values, integrity, and even the most basic standards of human decency. Their behavior was disgraceful, unprofessional, and blatantly discriminatory. They treated applicants with open contempt, using hostile facial expressions, aggressive tones, and offensive language. Their attitude was not only disrespectful — it was deliberately humiliating.
We were repeatedly denied our right to a translator. When a translator was finally provided, his English was shockingly poor and he was completely incapable of translating the information properly. He was clearly unqualified, uninformed, and absolutely unprepared to assist anyone.
For an office that exists exclusively to serve foreigners, it is unacceptable that the staff cannot speak even basic English. And if they insist on providing translators, the least they could do is provide one who is competent.
The officer handling our case behaved in a despotic, arrogant, and hostile manner. He shouted, refused to listen, interrupted us constantly, and made it painfully obvious that he had no intention of treating us fairly. I am certain he did not review a single document. He rejected the application purely out of personal bias or because someone else instructed him to do so. His actions were irresponsible, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable for someone in his position.
It is deeply concerning that individuals with such a severe lack of ethical values, professionalism, and human empathy are allowed to work in positions of authority. They do not serve the public — they abuse their power. Their behavior reflects a total disregard for human dignity.
Someone really needs to look into how this office operates, considering it is the only one serving foreigners in Bursa.
