I had an absolutely unforgettable experience with Royal Ballon during our hot air balloon ride. From the moment we arrived, the team was professional, organized, and very welcoming. The entire process felt safe and well-managed, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
A special thanks to our pilot, Tugrul Guclu, who was truly exceptional. His skill, confidence, and calm guidance throughout the flight made us feel completely safe. He also shared interesting information during the ride and ensured that everyone had the best possible view and experience.
Watching the sunrise from the sky while gently floating over the breathtaking landscape was magical. The flight was smooth, peaceful, and perfectly timed. The landing was also very soft and precise, which shows how experienced the pilot is.
At the end of ride, we opened a bottle of champagne to celebrate the wonderful experience.
If you are planning a hot air balloon ride, I highly recommend Royal Ballon and especially flying with Tugrul Guclu. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience that I will always remember.

Went to Cappadocia for 3 days a few weeks ago, with the main goal of experiencing the sunrise hot air balloons. The original day that our reservation was booked for, was cancelled due to weather - however we were easily and thankfully scheduled for the following morning.
I booked through "Get Your Guide" ; the process and communication was SO EASY!
Not only were we able to go up, but the weather was literally perfect. One day of no rain, clear skies and forgiving wind - SO GRATEFUL!
Our pilot was fantastic, friendly, fun, energetic and professional. DJ GORKEM KIYGA also "played" a few hot air balloon "tunes" haha.
I chose this company in particular, because I really didn't want to have a moshpit with 28 ppl in the sky - this hot air balloon had 11 people and they were all separated into private quadrants, which made it so we ALL had THE BEST VIEWS.
Appreciated the champagne toast and strawberry treats at the landing.

Such a beautiful morning to fly the hot air balloon. Hassan our driver was very kind and helpful and Tank our pilot was very knowledgeable and explained everything so well. Make sure to dress well if flying in winter as it gets really cold high up in the air. However 100% worth as the sight were truly magical! Thank you!!

I was pregnant so I wasn’t able to join the balloon flight , however, they allowed me to join the hole experience! They even gave me a lovely medal for getting up early to accompany my husband on this wonderful experience. Thanks guys!!

Driver picked us up on time in the morning from hotel to the gathering point. They even prepared breakfast there, it is so care because most of people do not have time to take breakfast at hotel if flying with sunrise. The whole team was very high efficiency and friendly. Of course the flying was incredible beautiful and fantastic. You will never forget it in the whole life. Absolutely recommendation!

We did a lot of research about companies and chose Royal Balloon because of the ratings and we did not regret going with them- we had the best time with Görkem this morning, he was genuinely friendly and made it very fun, making jokes and pointing out different areas as we flew. We felt safe the whole time and the crew were great too! Absolutely worth the trip just for this experience! 5 stars!
Royal balloon really provided exclusive service today by upgrading us to a 9 people group, managing everything in timely manner, giving nice presents snacks and everything at all.
All staff was very friendly and warm.
And our Pilot - Burak Has was really a great guy with his expertise and guidance.

L'esperienza inizia la mattina all'alba con un trasferimento al quartier generale della Royal, dove viene servita una leggera colazione, meglio volare con lo stomaco pieno.
Personale gentile e qualificato, ci ha scortato fino al sito di decollo dove con il simpatico Tolga, un pilota molto professionale e dalle battute esilaranti ci ha portato in giro tra le magnifiche valli.
Un'esperienza sicura e mozzafiato da fare almeno una volta nella vita.
Si conclude il tutto dopo l'atterraggio con un brindisi con Champagne e fragole al cioccolato, per ricordo viene data una medaglia.

The experience was amazing and unique. The staff was incredibly kind. But their website said the ride itself is 60-90 minutes. We were actually in the air for about 45 minutes (less if you don’t count barely floating above ground).
This was the main highlight of our entire Turkey trip. They are very professional right from the beginning, from booking till the end of the journey. The team picked us right from our hotel sharp on time, reached the sight on time. Pilot was well experienced, and funny, explaining things as we go on. Made it a very smooth ride felt safe throughout the journey. Highly recommend to anyone considering to take the balloon ride in Cappadocia.
I was so nervous when booking for myself and my daughter as I am not good with heights but it couldn’t have had smoother take off and landing. The trip was spectacular. We were so lucky with the weather - beautiful sunny day - just a bit cold !! Would thoroughly recommend.

This was truly the best travel experience of my life. I visited in September 2025 and loved it so much that I immediately booked again for my parents’ 60th birthday trip in November.
We had a few cancellations due to extreme weather conditions which is totally out of anyone’s control but I was so grateful we booked with Royal Balloon because they worked with us to rebook quickly. They are incredibly professional, safety focused, and well organized. Their communication is quick and the entire team is genuinely thoughtful.
I also joined the Royal Anatolia A1 tour, which I highly recommend. I’d say spend a few days in Cappadocia to increase your chances of flying and use the extra time to enjoy one of Royal’s personalized tours. They are comfortable and fun!
