I am nine weeks postop rhinoplasty with Dr. Ulusoy. I traveled from the US and had a great experience! I am glad that I went with an experienced surgeon because the nose that I originally was asking for would not have fit my face. Dr. Ulusoy walked me through a nose with very subtle changes that would fit my features and look natural. Ultimately, we did a base reduction and brought the tip up a few degrees. I am glad that I listened to his expertise.
Stay as far away from this "doctor" as you can. Seckin Ulusoy is a horrible surgeon and has left me with life long scars.
Alarplasty incisions are supposed to be placed within the alar crease to ensure they are hidden, or at least hard to notice unless pointed out. He made incisions with no intention of obscuring the scars. He has no business performing alarplasty.
He and his team attempt to gaslight me by saying the procedure was performed "perfectly", and that scars can be "removed with simple laser procedure." Ablative CO2 laser treatments are not only costly, but take 10+ treatments (separated by 4-6 weeks) to improve minor scarring. This is deep, atrophic scarring requiring subcision, several laser treatments, and most likely complete scar revision (which will still leave a scar in a prominent location). He isn't a dermatologist so he wouldn't know, and I've consulted with several that have not left me with much hope.
I've asked for my money back, and they have threatened to sue me for "defamatory statements". Sorry, true statements cannot be defamatory. I'm sure they have threatened others who have left negative reviews, which is how he has skewed his online ratings. Also - ask yourself why all his positive reviews have no photos...they're fake
They will also likely reply to this saying they offered to fix it by "removing extra skin next to the incision". This would look more abnormal than it does currently. The scar should have been place correctly the first time. It goes without saying that I have zero trust for him, and you should not trust him either.
I had the opportunity to visit Prof. Dr. Seckin Ulusoy during my stay in Istanbul and observe several of his rhinoplasty procedures.

После многих лет тщательных исследований , вызванных предыдущим травматичным опытом, я наконец решила довериться профессору д-ру Сечкину и пройти у него четвёртую операцию на носу, которая была выполнена в феврале 2024 года. Сегодня прошло уже более года после операции, и я могу с полной уверенностью сказать, что я безмерно счастлива как внешним видом, так и функциональностью моего носа. This doctor ruined my life. He did what HE wanted and left me scarred, physically and emotionally. In short, I look a lot worse than I did before surgery. This man has a very poor concept of aesthetics. Avoid at all costs. He preys on peoples insecurities and will not listen to what you want. Enjoy your next life Dr. Ulusoy, may you know the pain you have inflicted on me and all the other patients you have maimed. If I can help one person avoid this doctor then at least I feel some good will have come out of my experience, whoever is reading this, please don’t consider this doctor. Do your research. Listen to your intuition. May God bless you and protect you on your journey. Also. May I say that I don’t believe his positive reviews are real. I don’t believe they can be, I’d be shocked for him to have a patient that is happy with their result. Stay clear.
Yaklaşık 3 ay önce burun estetiği ameliyatı oldum ve bugün gönül rahatlığıyla şunu söyleyebilirim ki, verdiğim en doğru kararlardan biriydi. Ameliyat öncesinde uzun süredir nefes alma problemim vardı. Özellikle geceleri nefes alamamaya bağlı olarak çok ciddi uyku problemleri yaşıyordum. Bunun yanı sıra burnumun şeklinden de estetik olarak memnun değildim.Konsültasyon günü doktorum beni son derece dikkatli ve sabırla dinledi. Hem sağlıkla ilgili yaşadığım sorunları hem de estetik beklentilerimi ayrıntılı şekilde anlattım. Hiç acele ettirilmeden, gerçekten anlaşıldığımı hissederek görüşmemizi tamamladım. Doktorum süreci çok net, gerçekçi ve güven verici bir şekilde anlattı.
Ameliyat günü her şey son derece planlı, sakin ve profesyonel bir şekilde ilerledi. Gerek doktorum gerekse ekip, ameliyat öncesinde ve sonrasında bana kendimi çok güvende hissettirdi. Bu benim için çok önemliydi.

Nefes almam inanılmaz derecede rahatladı. Uzun zamandır ilk kez bu kadar iyi uyuyabiliyorum. Burun şeklimden ise çok memnunum. Yüzümle son derece uyumlu, doğal ve abartısız bir sonuç elde edildi. Hem fonksiyonel hem de estetik açıdan bu kadar başarılı bir sonuç elde etmiş olmak beni gerçekten çok mutlu ediyor. 22/02/2020 burun estetiği yaptığım gün.
O gun benim doğum günümdü sabah randevum vardi ve dr Ulusoy bana ameliyat nasıl geçeceğini söyledi ama ne ben onun sesini duydum ne annem konuşurken kelimelerin hiç birini anlamadık uykulu gibiydi çünkü çıkınca annemde aynısını söyledi.
Çok heyecan vardı ve çok istekliydim tamam dedim herseye. Ameliyat bitti dr bey yüzde 80 istediğime ulaştım dedi. Bandajlar çıkınca masaj önerdi çünkü eskisinden daha şiş daha kalındı (2 sene alıyor tam yerine oturması için demişti).
Bugün nerdeyse tam 6 sene olacak ve inanın çektiğim eziyet hala bitmedi. İlk ve çok amatör hatası sağ burnumun kanadında halen bıçak izi var. Burnum istediğim gibi değil hala çok şiş 6 sene geçmesine rağmen. istanbul’a gittiğimde kortizon iğnesi tedavisi uyguluyor (1 gün inceliyor diğer gün şişiyor aynı da kalıyor) en son gittiğimde (02/03/2022) kortizon iğnesi ile çok acılı ağrılı bir şekilde uyguladı doktora memnun olmadığımı söyledim eski haline çok benziyor dedim bakınca evet dedi bu sefer roaccutanne kullan dedi (asla) incelir vs vs yine beni öyle gönderdi ve o gün bugündür burnumdan kan geliyor. Dikişlerim patlamış gibi ne olduğunu anlamıyorum başka yerden randevu aldım ve yeni dr dedi ki burnunun diregi egri cunku tam 6 senedir sadece 1 tarafli nefes aliyorum bircok testten gectim testlerin sonuclari elimde nefes alamiyorum. Dr bey gerçekten size çok güvenmiştim 6 senedir hala çilesini çekiyorum bıktım. Mutlu olmak istedim çok övmüşlerdi sizi ama gerçekten övdükleri gibi değilsiniz kendimi 6 sene sonra bile hala eskisi gibi hissediyorum. Paramla rezil oldum sadece + nefes almakta zorluk cekiyorum ameliyattan sonra basladi bu. Bunu da söylemiştim yoo normal dediniz fakat gerçekten nefes almakta zorluk çekiyorum ve normal degil.

Nose Correction with Prof. Dr. Seçkin Ulusoy
We traveled from Berlin to Istanbul for a nose correction and were generally satisfied with Prof. Dr. Seçkin Ulusoy and his team. During our stay in Istanbul, the process was professional, the team was attentive, and the service quality at Acıbadem Maslak Hospital was very high. Despite our concerns due to Von Willebrand syndrome, the surgery went smoothly.
However, we experienced two negative points: Although our blood clotting disorder was known in advance and we were assured that the necessary medication would be prepared, it was not ready on the day of the surgery. Additionally, after we returned home, there was no proactive follow-up from the clinic. Whenever we felt the need to reach out, they responded, but they never contacted us on their own to ask about our recovery.
Since the clinic is located in Şişli—a very central and busy area—we recommend choosing a quieter hotel for better rest after the surgery.
Overall, we are satisfied with the result and thank the team for their work.
Burnum hayatımdaki bir kabusa dönüştü. Üç sene önce Seçkin Ulusoy tarafından revizyon ameliyatı geçirdim ve hayatım tamamen mahvoldu. O günden beri, gece gündüz tekrar bir revizyon ameliyatı düşünmekten kendimi alamıyorum. Burnum şekilsiz, eğri; bir tarafı çıkıntılı, diğer tarafı çökük bir hâlde bırakıldı ve doktor hiçbir şekilde hatasını kabul etmedi. Kesinlikle bu adama güvenmeyin.
Seçkin hocam işinde çok tecrübeli ve profesyonel bir doktor. Ağrı ve şişlik korkularım vardı fakat ne ağrı yaşadım ne de şişlik ve morluk. Çevreme güvenerek önerebileceğim bir klinik. Süreç boyunca aile gibi olduk çok keyifli bir deneyimdi.
This "doctor" Prof. Dr. Seckin Ulusoy destroyed my life! He promised me in written email and in the consultation, that he will make my nose straight for better breathing and the nose tip thinner. But than 1 hour before the surgery he pushed me to sign a declaration that he can not make the nose straight and I should sign that my organs and blood will be donated in case of complications which lead to death. Everything what he promised me before, he had erased by this declaration. In the opinion of my lawyers this is a fraud! The result of the surgery? I breath more worse than before because the septum is not really straight and there is less space than before, the nose tip is bigger than before and Dr. Ulusoy eliminated far too much of my nose ridge which has a curvy effect of a feminine nose and which I expressed before I don't want. He made exactly the opposite of that what I demanded and paid him for. I fully cannot recommend this doctor. He doesn't listen really to his patients, speaks monologues and in the end you will get the nose he wants and not the nose which you want. He destroyed my life and now I will hire the best lawyers to stop this bad example and to protect other people in the future.
