I have no words to describe the professionalism of all the members of Dr. Ali’s team, and especially the result of the surgery performed by Dr. Ali, which far exceeded all expectations. My skin was dull, aged, and visibly wrinkled, and now I feel as though I have regained 20 years of my life. I must say, there is nothing better that could happen to someone who no longer even recognized themselves.

Ich möchte meine Erfahrungen mit der Patientenkoordination von Dr. Ali Cetinkaya teilen, weil ich sie sehr ungewöhnlich und teilweise frustrierend fand. Dr. Ali Cetinkaya selbst ist ein sehr netter und kompetenter Arzt. Ich habe mehrfach mit ihm gesprochen und das Gefühl gehabt, in guten Händen zu sein.
Mein Problem begann mit seiner neuen Patientenkoordinatorin. Ich habe sie mehrfach angeschrieben, um einen Termin zu vereinbaren. Ihre Antwort war immer: „Momentan ist viel los, ich melde mich.“ Ich habe nachgefragt, ob es vielleicht eine andere Möglichkeit gibt oder ein anderer Ansprechpartner zuständig sei, aber auch darauf bekam ich keine klare Antwort – nur die ständige Wiederholung, dass sie und Dr. Ali Cetinkaya viel zu tun hätten.
Seit Monaten habe ich nichts mehr von ihr gehört. Es ist sehr enttäuschend, dass die Kommunikation auf diese Weise abläuft. Man muss extrem vorsichtig und höflich sein, wenn man mit ihr schreibt, fast so, als würde man auf Zehenspitzen gehen, um überhaupt eine Chance zu haben, Kontakt zu Dr. Ali Cetinkaya zu bekommen. Es fühlt sich fast so an, als ob die Patientenkoordinatorin die alleinige Kontrolle über den Zugang zum Arzt hat, ohne dass der Arzt selbst mitbekommt, wie schwer es ist, Termine zu bekommen.
Ich finde es schade, dass ein so kompetenter und freundlicher Arzt wie Dr. Ali Cetinkaya durch ein solches System indirekt behindert wird. Mein Eindruck ist, dass seine Patientenkoordination stark von persönlichen Eigenheiten abhängt und dass man viel Geduld und Fingerspitzengefühl braucht, nur um überhaupt eine Rückmeldung zu bekommen
Dr ali is very chill. During my in person consult while you speak he is already mapping your face out . He is watching all the movements in your face. He looks at you through the lens of a surgeon but also an artist. He is a very confident surgeon which gives you peace.He oozes experience and expertise. I am almost a month post op. What a difference. I actually didn’t realize how saggy i was until i compared my pictures. We are talking extreme difference. Im snatched!!! His team is 10/10. Always there for you at a snap. Watching you in person day by day. Checking your progress and healing. Dr. Ali is definitely a brilliant and honest guy. He doesn’t suggest or add on things just to make more money. For me when he saw actual discarded one procedure as seeing me in person gave him a clear and precise view of my face. His nurse that sees you daily ( NURSE ALI) Is wonderful. His entire team I would call a hem “ your dream team” to have by your side)
One month ago, Oct 8 and 9, 2025 my wife and I both had face lifts performed by Dr. Ali Cetinkaya. I had a deep plane face and deep neck lift, upper and lower blepharoplasty, direct brow lift and fat grafting. My wife had a deep plane face lift, deep neck lift, lower blepharoplasty, gliding brow lift, fat transfer and stem cell. Regarding the actual surgery and our results one month later, both of us are very pleased. Dr Ali is an excellent surgeon with wonderful personable manners.
I am choosing to focus on the completely turnkey nature of his service and team of professionals working with him because it was not something I saw in other reviews and is important.
From arriving to Istanbul International airport and meeting our ride, to being dropped off at the airport on departure day, we were never once left for wanting. Literally, every and all aspects of this journey from arrival to departure were handled by his great team of professionals. Our initial contact with his coordinator Ecem, was very positive. She was incredibly responsive to our questions and setting up our video conference with Dr. Ali over the course of several weeks of text and audio dialogue via WhatsApp. Dr. Ali's office activities were seamlessly managed by Gizem. She was on top of every logistical question asked and service provided. Our post operative care was beautifully managed by Nurse Ali, who visited with us each day at the hospital and at Antwell medical hotel, changing dressings, assessing progress and answering questions. He was gentle, polite and detailed the entire time. Another person was Simi who handled a variety of medical and non-medical tasks who was a wonderful and kind empathetic man. Dr. Ali’s operating room Nurse, who I met when she removed our stitches, was a top end medical professional. She has a 4-letter name I cannot remember. His videographer was also a good man who pitched in of his own initiative, outside of his videographer duties. What made this journey memorable was how each of them integrated so well as a team. Their teamwork and mutual respect were apparent from day one.
The private hospital from which Dr. Ali performs surgery was modern, clean and well-staffed. The floor Nurses English was just so-so, but Google Translate when needed, made this a non-issue. The food, as many patients agreed, was not good. But you’re only there for two days not including your surgery day.
Antwell medical hotel is a modern, clean and well-staffed facility with daily housekeeping. Their restaurant food is good. Breakfast was our favorite with many selections. Go to the top floor where there is a great view, a pool table and coffee bar or downstairs on the ground floor where there’s a pastry/coffee shop. The 4th floor has a relaxing living room type of seating area. There’s also a tasty Kabob restaurant at the top of the hill from Antwell and an impressive north American style mall about a 12-minute walk downhill from Antwell that’s loaded with quality restaurants.
A quick note regarding payment…I assume like us, many bring the maximum allowable cash into the country and pay the balance with a credit card. The remaining balance on your surgery will likely be charged through Antwells front desk charge card machine and not directly by Dr. Ali’s practice. So, don’t be surprised or alarmed. It’s normal and you will be issued electronic receipts.
I hope this helps with your decision-making process. We couldn’t be happier that Dr. Ali and his superb team of professionals were our choice. They were all terrific.
Dr. Ali Cetinkaya answered all my questions in my zoom consultation and the day before my surgery. I thought I was in good capable hands.
The hospital staff, hotel staff Dr. Cetinkaya and his assistant care was good.
I had a neck lift, facelift, lower eye lift and temporal lift and the pain was minimal.
CHANGED OPION RESULTS NOT GOOD
The above review was written soon after my surgery so my face was tight and looking good but it’s now been 6 months and my face has dropped. My neck lift is a disaster with lumps especially on the right side, my jowl area has dropped too and I have hollows under my eyes so after all it’s not a success. Dr. Ali did not perform a Deep Plane Face Lift otherwise it would not have dropped. They say deep plane but it’s not. The photos they get you to take are done shortly after so the face looks very taught and lifted I was told by Dr.Ali he would revise my neck which I thought would be free of charge but it turns out I would need to pay £1,900 to get this sorted out, which is unfair. Not what I was expecting!
UPDATE - I was recommended to a new surgeon in India. Surgery took 10 hours because he had to correct what Dr. Ali Cetinkaya had damaged. Extremely happy with this REAL deep plane face lift, neck lift, lip lift, upper and lower blepharoplasty, which was half the price of Turkey. The photo below is 9 months since my Indian surgeon did my face.
I would never recommend Dr. Ali Cetinkaya for a face lift.

Dr Ali Cetinkaya and his team are amazing. From start to finish you are cared for. Ejem is lovely and answered all of my questions, and there was a lot, prior to the initial consultation within minutes, sometimes immediately. We then had an online consultation with Dr Ali and this confirmed we had the right surgeon and team to perform a deep plane face and neck lift, temporal lift, eyebrow gliding, fat transfer and stem cells injected in my face. Everything is included, transfers, hotel, breakfast, hospital treatments and after care and medication. We were met at the airport with the lovely Gizem who took us to the hotel. We also met with Nurse Ali who was the nurse and translator, however, all the team spoke really good English. Nurse Ali accompanied us to appointments at the hospital for a pre operative assessment, blood test, ECG and chest X-Ray. You meet with an anesthesiologist who goes into your medical history meticulously. I met Dr Ali the day before surgery to go over everything and then on the day of the surgery to be marked up (i think he used permanent marker as my blonde hair now has purple streaks lol). Dr Ali just puts you at ease, even if he has worries, he keeps you calm and reassured and he also has a great sense of humour.My operation was around 9 hours due to my health and meds, he just took extra care. He came to check in me the day after surgery and confirmed it had gone really well. He recommended Hyperbaric oxygen therapy and if you want to speed up healing, give it a go, yes it's a little uncomfortable but it really helps. I also had O2 oxygen laser therapy and lip filler. Bearkai is the photographer and he records your journey and process. I gave consent so others can see what you will go through.
If you thing of going to have surgery you will not regret going to Dr Ali. Some in our hotel went elsewhere and were complaining. Do your research but always make sure you don't cut any corners.
My friends told me i didn't need it. I am 59 years and probaby didn't look it but i felt my face was tired, with drooping lids, jowls and deep lines round my mouth and wrinkly neck, i didn't my face matched how old i felt. I'm happy so far but looking 25 years younger is weird, I'm looking forward to settling back into my new face once the swelling reduces .

I had a facelift, neck lift, platysma bands repair, brow lift and temporal lift with Dr Ali Cetakeye, and I honestly couldn’t be happier with the results. From the very beginning he made me feel comfortable, listened to all my concerns, and explained everything in clear detail.
I live with hemicrania continua, (which is a rare, chronic headache disorder that causes constant, fluctuating pain on both sides of my head and face) , so I was worried about how the surgery and recovery might affect my pain. Amazingly, not only was the whole process so much easier than I expected, but the constant pain I had over my eyebrows has now completely gone since surgery. That in itself has been life-changing.

What can I say about Dr Ali Cetinkaya and his team!!! Where do even start. I’ve just returned from İnstanbul and know it well because I’ve been going out there for tooth implants. I researched for years to find a Dr who specialised in the face. I scrolled all the usual review forums, instagram etc. however i had to go out to have abdominal surgery to fix the damage done to me by UK NHS from a defective mesh implant which ruined my health and body. So I paid privately and found a surgeon in Istanbul too who used the best facilities including Acibadem hospital and Antwell suites recovery hotel which has its own infirmary and spa. So while I was there after spending years trying to find a Dr for my face I met a few of Dt Ali Cetinkaya’s patients. They were singing his praises telling me how talented he is and that he prioritises safety and care and that unlike my last surgeon they saw him regularly and he had his own permanent nursing staff who are totally dedicated and are always on call at the infirmary. So this was something I’d never encountered in all my 10 years of having private surgery. A Dr who prioritised his patients over money. For instance unlike other surgeons he only dues one surgery per day. A lot of surgeons squeeze in two surgeries which is nuts given that these surgeries take up to 5/6 hrs. I literally thought this was fate.. and immediately contacted them when I returned home. Knowing that Dr Ali also uses the best facilities, because Antwell is exceptional for recovery. I was on my own both times and everyone there are patients from all over the world so it’s all geared up for patients who end up becoming friends. So yes within a few weeks I had a FaceTime chat with Dr Ali. I already knew I wanted him but I was doubly convinced after our consultation. Unfortunately at that time he didn’t do visits to london but he is going to change that and is planning to have open days. That didn’t even matter for me because I knew I’d made the right choice. He’s a lovely caring fluent English speaking aesthetic genius as far as I’m concerned. So when I arrived I met the whole team, Damla,Selin are his full time nurses and Gizem is the coordinator. Unlike most ppl I have a lot to compare my experience with as I’ve had 3 cosmetic surgeries including one in UK and 7 other ops. So when I tell you this service is top tier first rate I am speaking from experience. I had 2 nights in the hospital with private nurses then I was taken to Dr Ali’s extremely smart clinic ( even for Knightsbridge London standards!) there I had the latest technology Co2 lazer treatment and asked for him to do extra work on my TT scar and chest. Face is included in the price. Being a 30 year smoker co2 was essential for me and my skin looks 25 again. It’s quite astonishing! So I’m a 52 year old who had deep plane face and neck, temporal lift. Lip lift and nose tip. They had me booked in to stay 12 nights that’s the other difference I was sent home totally unprepared and far too early last time after my TT. Dt Ali may be a little more expensive but that’s because he spends more and he’s the best and you don’t want to take any chances with your face. All meds are included. I had a few issues with my neck swelling up, Selin drained it 3 times which was a massive relief and had me on I’ve steroids. So pretty much they are there for you every step of the way if anything needs doing. I literally love this team and Dr Ali is a wonderful soul and so talented. I’m so pleased I went with a younger surgeon because he’s using cutting edge technology, he encourages to do hyperbaric oxygen chamber and he’s so committed and hardworking it’s crazy. He works 7 days a week. I think he will be considered the best surgeon in Turkey one day and be famous. He has attracted patients from all over the world . All in all the best possible experience if I could give Dr Ali and his team 6 stars I would. GO WITH DR ALI YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT.
