Oğuz Rent A Car - Airport

Sharing my experience for other international travelers. I booked a car through Economic Bookings. I went to the pickup location listed on the voucher — but there was no car there. Apparently the pickup was actually at the airport. The interesting part: My pickup time was 08:00, but the airport voucher was sent to me at 08:06. So I had to immediately take a 2,200 TRY taxi to the airport. After arriving and completing the paperwork, I finally received the car about two hours later than scheduled. Returning the car was also memorable. If I wanted to return it at the location I originally requested, I was told I needed to pay an additional €20. I had already purchased full insurance through the booking platform, but at the rental desk I was told that insurance “often doesn’t actually cover damages,” so I was encouraged to buy their insurance for another €25. At that point I thought, well… travel experiences can be educational. I also paid a €120 deposit. The payment system was quite interesting as well. The rental fee had to be paid again and refunded later, and due to a mistake by the company I even had to send money back again, losing additional card fees in the process. What stood out the most during this entire process was that not once did anyone say “this was our mistake” or even “sorry.” At first I assumed it was simply a misunderstanding between the booking platform and the rental company. However, after waiting more than a month and still not receiving my €120 deposit back, the experience became even more memorable. For a rental that lasted about 12 hours, the final experience included: • 2,200 TRY taxi • €20 additional return fee • €25 extra insurance • €120 deposit (still not returned) So the total cost came to around €250. For a 12-hour rental, that was quite impressive — for a moment I honestly thought I must have rented a Ferrari. International travelers may want to double-check pickup location, return location, insurance terms, and deposit policies very carefully before booking. Otherwise, the experience might become… unexpectedly memorable.

Отличная команда . Нашел их на Яндекс картах. Перешел на сайт . На сайте есть ссылка на вацап . В вацапе задал все вопросы. Ответили на русском языке. Встретили у аэропорта Каппадокия с табличкой , довезли до офиса . Все оформили, сфотографировали погрешности те что были . .Депозит не оставлял , так как в оформление поставил галочку без депозита (возможно цена выше ) Но если бы галочку не поставил , то депозит потребовали точно , 3000 TL . Машину дали с пробегом 22 тысячи маленькая но очень комфортная Рено Клио При сдачи все без проблем приняли машину и отвезли в аэропорт. Все супер .

We were taken to Oguz without any prior notice, after booking our rental through another company. There was no explanation for this change, and communication was extremely difficult because the staff did not speak English. The car provided was very old, with over 100,000 km, and in very poor condition — it was also extremely dirty. This was far from what we expected or paid for. During the rental period, we faced a dangerous situation due to heavy snow. The road became completely covered with snow, and we were unable to climb an uphill section. When we contacted Oguz for help, they refused to provide any assistance and simply told us to contact the police. Being abandoned like this in an emergency situation is unacceptable. Because of the poor vehicle condition, lack of transparency, language barriers, and total absence of customer support, we strongly do not recommend Oguz Rent a Car.
