もともと何軒かお店を回って決める予定でしたが、このお店の温かいおもてなしと、オーナーの情熱に触れ、ここで買うしかない思い購入に至りました。購入後には、地元の美味しいレストランまで案内してくださり、本当に最高の思い出となりました。心から感謝しています！

The owner's knowledge is incredible. He patiently explained each carpet in detail, helping us find the perfect one that fit our taste and budget. He dedicated over an hour and a half to us, guiding us through the selection process, which was incredibly helpful.
I had planned to visit several shops, but after experiencing the warm hospitality and the owner's passion, I knew this was the only place to buy a carpet. After the purchase, he even took us to a delicious local restaurant. It was an unforgettable experience. I'm truly grateful for his kindness.

This Turkish rug shop is fantastic. I have purchased 3 rugs from them and each one is exquisitely beautiful and of the highest quality.
Muammer helped us find exactly what we were looking for, at a very reasonable price. He even showed us pictures of the area where the rugs were made and of the people making them. He had us smell the different rugs and described the different grasses that the animals ate! It was very interesting and he is very knowledgeable.
It's obvious he takes great pride in the rugs he offers, while not being pushy at all and was very patient as we had a hard time choosing between all the beautiful rugs!
Shipping costs were very reasonable also and the rugs arrived exactly on time.

If you are looking for authentic Turkish carpet, kilim, here is the place to visit and buy. They sell handmade and naturally dyed kilim at good price. Those who want to buy kilim that is handmade with top quality but not made by factory, ask owner of store. They are willing to share the knowledge with you. My conclusion is that non-expert like me cannot identify the difference between handmade and factory one. So finding a trustworthy owner is the best solution, and this store is the one. We are so happy with purchase.

Schon beim Eintreten haben wir uns sehr willkommen gefühlt und haben begeistert den Erzählungen über die verschiedenen Teppiche und Künstler, die diese gefertigt haben, gehört. Wir haben dadurch sehr viel lernen dürfen und wissen unseren Teppich nun noch viel mehr zu schätzen!

So many carpets (I just use this word for all styles)! What would you like.. for size or for type of carpet, the style of pattern, or for colour.... anything you like. And then you get to see all the options. Effortlessly one carpet after another is taken from the huge piles and shown on the floor. I got to hear a lot of history also: meanings of symbols used and also several carpets with their own special history.
The two brother-owners really know quality. They have passion for their bussiness and for customerservice!

Mehmet snd Muammer have curated an oasis of calm and peace when bazaars can feel like busy and pressured places. In I have been visiting ipek yolu for a number of years and the care, expertise and knowledge of kilim history and quality is something that increasingly has stood out. The history of colour and pattern and their relationships to the people who make them felt that I was buying more than a rug but connecting myself to this history. This is place to visit and these are people to visit who know Konya and are connected to it.. it is important that places like ipek yolu keep reminding us of this history through the story and beauties of kılıms

The friendliest, kindest hosts and the most beautiful carpets - you really do feel like you've stepped back in time when you visit Muammar and Mehmet at İpek Yolu.
We always stay at their adjoining hotel (Dervish hotel), which for us is a haven of tranquility.
If you are ever lucky enough to visit the beautiful city of Konya, then please do stay at Dervish hotel and stop by Ipek yolu. Even if you don't buy anything you will be welcomed like an old friend.
