Simply the best pottery shop in Avanos and all of Cappadocia. The craftsmanship and quality of the ceramics are outstanding. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, ready to explain the techniques and provide an authentic experience.
A must-visit if you’re in the area!
Semplicemente il miglior negozio di ceramiche di Avanos e dell’intera Cappadocia. La tecnica e la qualità delle ceramiche raggiungono livelli straordinari. Il personale è estremamente gentile e disponibile, pronto a spiegare le lavorazioni e a far vivere un’esperienza autentica. Una tappa assolutamente obbligatoria se ci si trova in zona!
Fue una experiencia fantástica. Aunque no es fácil de encontrar (no es un lugar muy turístico) y el género es limitado (tienen pocas piezas pero muy bonitas) los hermanos que regentan el lugar fueron muy amables. Compramos un par de piezas, nos enseñaron el taller (sin pedírselo siquiera) y nos explicaron el proceso de elaboración de las piezas. Una experiencia inolvidable.

We didn’t plan on stopping but we’re nearby as we were driving to see sites in Cappadocia. It was hot and we figured we would stop to check it out (based on Lonely Planet recommendation). The pottery was great but the better experience was that the brothers took time to give us a short tour and asked if the kids wanted to try making some vases. It was amazing to see them teach and share this knowledge that has been in their family for generations. Strongly recommend making a stop here. We showed up just to look - and I really appreciated that there was no pressure to buy anything at all.
