Great location for wandering around old town or down to the sea wall!! Very friendly staff and guests. Comfortable private room with a little balcony. The terrace bar has a beautiful view and good selection.
The shower stall was a bit smelly and the water pressure is bad.
BED BUGS!
The first night we got there, we lay down for less than an hour and our backs were completely bitten by bed bugs. We told them, and they moved us to another room, insisting they didn’t have bed bugs — but they do. After they moved us, we saw them trying to clean, and we didn’t get bitten again. Even though it has a nice rooftop, the bed bugs are an absolute nightmare.
I really wanted to like this hostel because the atmosphere is genuinely social. People spend time in the kitchen and on the rooftop, and it seems like a good place to meet other travelers. Unfortunately, the private room did not match the price point or expectations.
The room has several cracks around the door frames and the paint is chipping. The bathroom is not pleasant to look at. The shower is difficult to use because it takes a long time to heat up and only works properly if you hold the pipe at a specific angle, which is inconvenient. The bedding is also unusual. They provided the inside of a duvet but not a duvet cover, which felt uncomfortable and not very hygienic.
Another important note is that the hostel only accepts cash. This was frustrating and not clearly communicated in advance, so be prepared if you decide to stay.
Noise is also a significant issue. There is a nearby bar that plays loud music late into the night. It is currently well past midnight on a Saturday and the music is still going, so sleep is difficult unless you are a deep sleeper who does not mind constant noise.
Overall, the social vibe is a plus, but the room quality, noise level, and cash-only policy do not justify the price for a private room. There are better options available nearby. If you care more about meeting people and do not mind very basic facilities, this might still be a fit. Otherwise, I would not recommend it.

Wow never in my life have I experienced such a poor welcoming from a hostel. I checked in and I was told the room wasn’t ready even tho I got a email from the owner stating I will be be able to check in before 12pm and then the owner greeted me with some Aussie slang and told me to leave after getting in my face. I do not recommend going to this hostel. The owner needs to re-access why he owns a hostel

The most friendly staff and awesome amenities. The social culture at the hostel is amazing, definitely created by the wonderful staff, especially Baran who took us on pub crawls and showed us a good party!
A massive shout out to Adam & Mutsfa who were always there when we needed them, and Hakan the most welcoming host who made us feel at home. Will definitely be back!
I had the best experience here and Rosef was such a good bartender and made my experience so much better. We had some great chats as well
