We were visiting Istanbul for a month during the summer break so I was looking for a good music school for my daughter to keep her constructively busy and at the same time she pursues her hobby. Besiktas music school was highly recommended by my friends since we were looking for a school who could teach in English. I contacted Dr. Farhad Director of the music school who was very helpful, knowledgeable and welcoming. My daughter took 2 lessons - english music vocals and piano twice a week for a month. Thank you Dr. Farhad and the teachers who taught my daughter for all your help and support during our stay in Istanbul!!

My daughter takes piano lessons at Besiktas Muzik Merkezi, and we've had a wonderful experience. Her teacher is fantastic—very patient and excellent at tailoring the lessons to my daughter's pace. The teachers are all excellent and speak English well. The school has a fun, welcoming atmosphere, and it's great to see students from many different backgrounds interacting with each other.

I have learned so much from Sümeyye and Mohammad ! I am an artist leaving in Switzerland and for me it was the perfect music school: everything was made possible for me to be able to learn directly from the best teachers. For example, when we had language barrier, another teacher would join the lesson to help us translate. This is a great effort showing me the willingness of the school to help the students! Also, the documents provided by the teachers really helped me in my understanding of the instruments. Overall, the school is super professional. I would definitely recommend to any artist, beginner or pro, willing to learn more about Turkish / oriental instruments or Turkish / oriental music!

Master Farhad and is team are AMAZING. I've been organising a three month intensiv formation in their school from Europe and everything went super smoothly: well organised, good communication, helpful in every regard! Yet the most important is this: all the teachers are masters of their art. And altough I was a beginner in both Ney and Darbuka, I felt confortable to learn, experiment, make mistake! I felt a great support from all of them and learning from the masters enabled me to build the best foundations to continue growing further! THANK YOU Beşiktaş Müzik! I ll come back!

I took voice and Baglama classes in person and online at Besiktas Muzik Merkezi and I had a really good experience! The instructors are highly qualified and very professional, they truly care about your progress! The school has English speaking instructors which made the learning smoother for me as foreign student.

I highly recommend this music studio. Teacher Farhad is very professional and friendly, and he is always happy to share his musical knowledge. I once joined a music gathering there and really enjoyed the atmosphere of making music together.

Beşiktaş Müzik Merkezi is a great place for anyone who loves music. It’s welcoming, comfortable, and has a really nice atmosphere that makes practicing and spending time there enjoyable. I practice piano with Elin and she is such an amazing teacher, and everyone there is welcoming and supportive.
