After cycling for many months we arrived here to get our bikes serviced. Basically just replacing the chains and brake pads. We were a bit bummed to find out that both chains had been installed in incorrect length causing the drive train to jam. The brake pads were not replaced by the mechanic as they were allegedly still okay. However, after 2 weeks and some more problems with our brakes we brought them to another shop on the way were we could see they were completely worn off. Seems like they didnt check our brakes at all.
Maybe the language barrier caused this issues. We hope that in the future the mechanic does a more attentive job.
Highly recommended, both friendly and professional. I had a big crack in the rim of my back wheel. Batuhan and his cousin took the time to find a solution, completely rebuilding a wheel with a new hub. I’m good to go again direction Georgia, with different route suggestions. Thank you both, lifesavers!

Batu is a great guy with a great bike shop. He gave my partner and I advice on our route towards Georgia and we shared a dinner together. Batu himself has also experience in long distance biking, so he understands the needs of bikepackers, which is so helpful when you are on the road. Big thanks to Batu!

Excellent experience! We arrived half way through our cycling trip from Europe to Asia and stopped off to buy some spare cables, bolts and a helmet. The shop owner was very welcoming, offering us coffee, WiFi, cigarettes and even recommending a place for us to camp. He speaks good English and is well travelled and experienced in cycling and mountaineering! Would definitely recommend
Batu Bike is an awesome shop! I enjoyed looking through their extensive range of brilliant bikes. Batu himself took the time to give me a lot of super helpful advice about my touring route from Kars to Tbilisi. I love his bike philosophy - following your heart is the most important thing - I couldn’t agree more. Batu is a great guy and really kind - I’m happier for meeting him :)

Really helpful English speaking owner, he helped us out with cleaning up our chains after a month cycling through Turkey and providing some replacement spokes. The store is well stocked with parts as well.
