Hatta her gün için 160tl ücret ödedik. aracimiz goremeye 100 km kala ariza verdi. Bize en yakın Kapadokya havalimanından araç tahsis edildi. Kapadokya havalimanında geldiğimizde Avis müdürü bize yaz lastikli araç verdi Cunki kış lastiğine geçmedik daha zorunlu değil dedi. 1 kasimda 1 metre kar ve don olayı olan bölgede bize yaz lastikli araç ile gezmemizi söyledi ve kesinlikle kis lastigi vermeyeceğini söyledi sonrada mesai saatim bitti dedi ve gitti biz Bursa Avis müşterisini yüz üstü bıraktı . Biz yaz lastikli aracı kabul etmedik çünkü bölge daglik kar ve her yer buz olayı vardı. Karlı ve buz olan yollarda yaz lastigi ile araç kullanmak kurallara aykırı ve insan hayatını hiçe saymaktır. Kapadokya müdürü 1-11-2024 insanların hayatını tehlikeye atıp ve mağduriyetini çözmeyip giden bir insandır. Mağduriyetimizi Bursa Nilüfer çalışanlari ve Tofaş genel müdürlüğünden Ceren hanim giderdi sagolsunlar. I was first anxious booking Avis during our trip upon reading reviews here in Google, but I thought the bad reviews are the isolated cases and those who had good experience probably didn’t bother to leave a review at all.
I booked a car for 7 days for our family of 5. The pick up in airport was convenient and easy. I coordinated with them through Whatsapp that I may be running late as our flight arrives at 9:50PM, and their office hours were only up to 10PM. The staff patiently waited for us and we were able to get a car under the category we booked (Compact SUV, A/T)
The car is in good condition. We explored cross-country and we did not have any problems encountered throught the 700+ KMs that we traveled.
We dropped off the car at Izmir airport which was also a breeze. We were actually sad when we had to say goodbye to our car for 7 days.
Both pick-up and drop-off had a checklist what the car condition was and so they easily kept track if you returned it in the same state you picked it up.
After 14 working days, the 5,000TL we paid as deposit during pick-up wasn’t reversed yet. And so we followed through Avis Whatsapp. On the same day we reached out to them, they have processed the reversal. So just a friendly tip to give them a nudge to return your deposit.
We are very satisfied with our experience with Avis. I will book them again when we go back to Turkiye.

I was initially hesitant due to poor recent reviews and almost rented in Goreme instead, but I'm glad I went with this airport location. I booked through a Turkish Airlines affiliate and got a local rate that included standard damage protection. I also brought my own excess insurance from the UK, so I didn't need any extras at the counter. Used a credit card for the deposit.
Pick up was smooth, just a 5 minute walk towards the parking, 2'o clock direction after exiting the airport terminal. The car was exactly the one I booked, was clean and in good condition despite having 44,000 km. I checked the tyres thread and took my own video of the car just to be safe.
On return, i filled up the fuel and had a self car wash (30 lira) at the nearby station. My return flight depart at 10:45am and while officially the Avis counter opened at 9am (return process complete at the carpark), but i was able to return the car around 8:30ish after i spoke to a friendly representative from Enterprise car rental at the car park whom helped calling his Avis mate which is 10 minites away. The return took about 5 minutes, and I was given a return receipt showing no charges applied. Prior to the booking, 1 of my concern was not having enough time to return the car but turned out to be positive. As for the deposit, I got it back on the same day (although only showed in the online statement 3 days later) but with minimal loss due to the currency fluctuation.
Overall, it was a great experience with no hidden charges or scams. Highly recommend car rental for anyone travel with partner or family planning to explore Cappodocia without joining the tours.

I booked and prepaid for a car in the luxury category, but upon arrival, I was given a vehicle from the entry-level category. No representative on site could resolve the issue, and I am still waiting for my money. Absolutely not recommended! Tourists should choose other car rental companies to avoid such problems.
Ich habe in der Luxuskategorie ein Auto bestellt und im Voraus bezahlt. Vor Ort bekam ich jedoch ein Fahrzeug aus der Einstiegskategorie. Kein Ansprechpartner konnte mir vor Ort weiterhelfen und das Problem lösen. Heute warte ich immer noch auf mein Geld. Auf keinen Fall empfehlenswert! Touristen sollten andere Autovermieter wählen, um solche Probleme zu vermeiden.

Took a 3-day rental, initially it was $200 until we were told it’s not automatic, so extra $150 in your face. And then tank was only 3/4 full even though it says full on the contract. The deposit was also short on return. Ended up paying $350 for a 3-day rental. Absolutely exorbitant just like everywhere else in Cappadocia.
This is my last time visiting this place, the officials treat people very badly, they are very disrespectful.
We had a brilliant experience with the chap who checked our car in and out. We never got his name but he spoke to us in French which was great! We had a very delayed flight from Istanbul, and he graciously waited way beyond work hours to make sure we could pick up our car, was super responsive on WhatsApp, and was very thorough with the car inspection. The car we hired drove well and we had a great experience. Teşekkürler!
Picked up here and dropped off in at Antalya airport. I paid $536.28 CAD for rental for 3 days. No problem. Got $542.95 CAD in Otokoc Otomotiv charges after dropping off. No explanation. No invoice. Asked for refund of these additional charges. No response from either Avis location. I would never rent from Avis again. I had unlimited kilometers. There was no damage. Tank was full upon return. No reason to be charged extra. Unprofessional. Unethical conduct.

Una piacevole sorpresa.. ho fatto solo il ritiro xk l'auto la consegno da un'altra parte.. sono stati gentili, veloci, c'è stato un problema con le condizioni della vettura consegnata, mi hanno dato subito una sostitutiva dello stesso livello che ho prenotato, auto pulite! Ringrazio tutto lo staff!
Escrocs ! Ont m’a donner un véhicule cabossé de partout avec le par choc qui a deja tamponner ! Des rayures partout ! Les pneus qui sont en fin de vie, intérieur du véhicule pas nettoyer ! Faites attention le vieux qui fait les remises des clefs note pas tout les défaut présent sur la carrosserie ils essaie de vous faire signer en rapide ! Pour ma part j’ai une vidéo intérieur et extérieur qui m’a sauver !
J’ai essayer de contacter le service Avis mais aucune réponse de leur part je suis extrêmement déçue de cette agence ! Plus jamais !

There was no service they gave me a WhatsApp number the guy working there answer 24h later when you had an issue or questions
Also paid extra for a baby seat. The baby seat is very old 2015 in 2024 and expired. Especially when the price I paid for a baby seat is the value of a new one in 10 days of renting.
This was the worst experience. I was planning to drop off the vehicle around 7 am since my flight was at 9:40 in the morning. However, I was told by one of the staff to come to the airport at 7 am as it would be late. So I arrived at 7 am, but no one was there. I couldn't reach anyone by phone, so I asked the airport staff to contact them using the number on their business card, but they didn't answer. The airport information staff said they would open by 8 am, but no one showed up, and even after calling and emailing again at 8:30, there was no response. Around 8:45, I went to the parking lot myself to return the key. I tried but couldn't refuel at the gas station right in front of the airport, as it was closed, so I couldn't fill the tank. Now, the rental car company is charging me USD 25, which is too much for 1 gas bar of compact diesel car. When I mentioned that my flight was about to depart soon, they told me to refuel now I can go and fill the tank since the gas station is open. This was unbelievable.
Please be aware of their business hours and make sure to fill the tank before arriving at the airport
