Je suis très satisfaite de l'atelier peinture des motifs traditionnels Iznik sur céramique. J'ai récupéré la pièce après cuisson, c'est magnifique. Je vous recommande si vous êtes sur Istanbul.

This is such a warm, welcoming place! Esra makes learning Turkish tile art feel easy and fun, even if you’re new to it. The whole vibe is relaxed and creative, and you leave with something beautiful you made yourself. Also, you get to meet a lot of cool people! We attended a great workshop at Atelier Simurg today. Esra generously shared her amazing skills and taught us how to paint beautiful motives on ceramics. She is super professional and a very kind and patient teacher. The atelier is so pretty and full of beautiful pieces of ceramics. I can only recommend you to stop by this amazing place

Pendant notre séjour à Istanbul on a passé plusieurs jours à rechercher qqch d'authentique, turc et artisanal. Nous n'avons rien trouvé d'artisanal sur la partie europeenne d'Istanbul (que des trucs fabriqués en Chine) et nous avons trouvé notre bonheur chez Atelier Simurg ! On a acheté une belle assiette en céramique faite main et deux dessous de verre. Tout est magnifique, fait main et inspiré d'histoire byzantin et ottoman. La propriétaire (et l'artiste !) explique la signification de la symbolique. C'est un peu cher mais tout y est magnifique et authentique, contrairement à ce qu'on voit dans le grand bazar et rues d'Istanbul (côté européen)

The best shop to buy authentic and unique artworks from Istanbul. Hard to choose among such beautiful pieces. The owner and artist is adorable. We stayed 2 hours talking about turkish art and culture. That was so interesting!!

Visited yesterday with my friend, and were felt so welcomed. I’ve been wanting to get some tiles while in Turkey, but I didn’t find any that I liked until coming here. We got to meet the artist responsible for the beautiful tiles, and see her studio. She was lovely to chat with, and incredibly generous with her knowledge. They also run workshops!

Honestly, I've never left a review on anything in my life, But this experience is worth going the extra mile to review. I was in Istanbul for a day yesterday had a very long lay over and hours to pass, and I was looking for something fun & relaxing to do. & I am so glad I came across this place! and It was great, Esra was so hospitable, and the atmosphere is great especially if you are looking to relax & do a therapeutic activity. This was just that for me. The options she offers were so vast & some truly beautiful pieces. It is so obvious she puts so much love and spirit into her job, and you can't help but notice that. I loved also that there is a shipping option for the piece you paint! Which was so accommodating to my situation, and she also offers you turkish chai or coffee. And also the location is simply perfect! After the activity you can walk around there are so many great shops on your way to the port. So, I simply can't help but recommend this! And thank you Esra! Esra hocamız çini sanatını öğretmekle kalmıyor estetik algımızı da genişletiyor. Kendisi ile çalışmak çok keyifli. Geleneksel ve modern çini çalışmaları için şiddetle tavsiye edilir!!!!
