Insanely bad level of service. They're unprofessional and incompetent. They ghosted me instead of providing basic information.

Contratamos un viaje a través del hostel (Diadem Hostel). Había niebla densa y era evidente que no se iba a poder volar. Recogida a las 6:20 solo para pasearnos por otros hostels, coger a otra gente y aparcarnos 2h sin calefacción diciendo que “no sabían si sería otra media hora”. El conductor un impresentable.
Tras ello nos mete en una cafetería hacinados a todos los clientes, la gente se pide algo y a los 10 minutos dice que nos vamos de vuelta al hotel. En todo momento nos prohibió bajar del bus (estabamos a 3min del hostel) diciendo que si lo hacíamos luego ya no nos llevaría al globo.

Müthiş bir deneyimdi. Anatolian Balloons firmasından çok memnun kaldık. Eğer İstanbul’dan bu firmayı bilseydik, hiç araştırma yapmadan, vakit kaybetmeden direkt Balon’umuza geçerdik ancak Göreme’de bulabildik firmayı ve yine de geç olsun güç olmasın diyoruz :)
Kapadokya, Göreme vd bir çok Acente var ve tabii ki hepsi de tutarlı, sistemli, organize hizmet veriyorlar ancak Anadolu Balonları firmasıyla ilk uçuşumuzdu ve bundan sonra hep iletişim de kalıp, arkadaşlarımı da direkt oraya göndereceğim yer oldu. Özellikle Pilot Ali Kebabçı Bey gerçekten güven verdi. Hiç tedirgin olmadık, çok keyifli, rüya gibi bir 1 saat Peri Bacaları’nın, Vadi’lerin üzerinde uçtuk, kimi zaman alçaldık hve hatta Peri Bacaları’na dokunacak kadar yaklaştık Pilot’umuz işine hakim, sakin ve uçmayı da seven biriydi :) 500-600 metre yerden yükseldik ve sonunda geleneksel hareket ile Şampanya patlatımı, sertifika dağıtımını gerçekleştirdik. Gerçekten çok çok teşekkür ederiz herkese, ekibe ve firmaya da. Başarılarının, uçuşlarının, ilhamlarının devamını yürekten dileriz ️
NOT: Uçuşlar hava durumuna ve havanın değişip, riskli bir uçuş olması durumuna göre değişiyor ve tabii ki bu durum da ödenilen para iade ediliyor.
Diğer bir konu da Balon fiyatları, kalan yer kadar, uçuşa geçecek Balonlar da kalan yere, göre değişebiliyor. Biz uçuşumuzdan 1 akşam önce aldık biletlerimizi ancak daha önceden alsaydık, fiyatlar daha da uygun olabilirdi. Yine de, her iki durumda da (erken rezervasyon ya da son dakka rezervasyon) ödenilen ücretler gayet normal geldi bizlere.. Yer ayırtacakların bilgisine.
***Be aware that you may miss the sunrise if you book through this company*** (if you read other reviews of this company, it is not an uncommon occurrence)
We booked the sunrise hot air balloon flight through our hotel and were assigned a tour with this company. It was a very steep price of 350 euros because the flights were cancelled for 3-4 days before that. We got picked up on time; however, sat in the bus waiting for 30 min for some unclear reason. The driver just said "he was just the driver and knew nothing" and was waiting to hear from the pilot and operations team where the takeoff location was. We ended up missing the sunrise since we were still on the bus, got off the bus a few minutes after sunrise, and lifted off 10 min after sunrise.
No snacks or breakfast was provided even though it was advertised and only non-alcoholic juice ("champagne") was provided for celebration after the flight. The pilot even had the gall to declare they were very professional and asked for tips.
Because we paid a lot of money for the experience that was advertised as a sunrise ride and the company did not deliver, I tried requesting a partial refund from the company through Whatsapp (no response) and through my hotel. They refused, blaming the delay on the "government" and the "weather". That made no sense because plenty of other balloons took off before sunrise and we were one of the last to take off. The balloon experience itself was great, but we felt scammed that we had entirely missed the sunrise and the failure of the company to take responsibility left a bad taste.
Professionals. Anatolian Balloons was the only group that involved a team of men working together to ensure a safe take off and landing. The views were surreal and one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Landing was incredibly smooth. Pilot was extremely vigilant during flight, while also creating a fun and enjoyable atmosphere (no pun intended). Shuttle pickup and drop off was timely and reliable. Seriously, everything was perfect. The entire team was a joy to be around in such early hours of the morning.
Scammers. We booked a balloon flight in advance for 75€. The day before our flight, flights were canceled due to bad weather. And the company decided that due to the fact that the demand has increased today. They canceled our reservations for 75€ and made it for 150€. Please tell me, so why does the reservation exist at all? Look for another company! I contacted several other companies about this point. They said it was impossible for them
The flight lasted less than an hour and was low. They said because of the wind. Although a lot of Balloons were still in the air and high
The experience was overall nice. The driver picked us up from our hotel in a comfortable Sprinter van and brought us to the takeoff site. The balloon flight itself was amazing — smooth, and with a perfectly controlled landing.
The only downside was how they insisted on tips at the end, for the ground crew that sets up and packs the balloon. Everyone ended up giving around 20€.
Right after that, they offered to sell the photos and videos taken with an Insta360 X2 for 30€, then dropped the price to 20€ when no one responded. Still, no one wanted to pay more — and instead of offering them, they just preferred to delete everything away. We found that quite unprofessional and awkward. The "celebrating" part is just a way to take more money and waste your time. And their "certificate" is also just an additional advertising for their company.

Tour is good! But the price is different depends on your situation. You have to pay little bit more when you don’t have time or fail to negotiate. I failed to negotiate as my daughter was too young to take on the balloon. This company took my daughter but we paid more than others!

Unvergessliches Erlebnis in Cappadocia!
Die Heißluftballonfahrt war absolut atemberaubend - ein einmaliges Erlebnis, das ich jedem nur empfehlen kann. Der Pilot war super sympathisch und hat für eine spannende, aber absolut sichere Fahrt gesorgt. Kein Risiko, aber definitiv Adrenalin pur! Die Aussicht war magisch und der Spaßfaktor riesig. Vielen Dank für dieses Highlight meines Urlaubs!

The hot air balloon ride was beautiful, of course — but to be fair, you’ll get stunning views no matter which company you fly with in Cappadocia.
Our original flight was canceled due to bad weather (which wasn’t the company’s fault), but we had no choice but to pay nearly double to rebook for the following day. It seems to be standard practice here: if your flight gets canceled, you get a refund, but prices shoot up when you try to rebook last-minute. Again, not entirely the company’s fault, but definitely something important for travelers to know.
What disappointed us most was the flight duration. The experience was advertised — and even confirmed by our pilot — as lasting 1 hour. However, we were in the air for 45 minutes at most. We took off around 5:30 am and were back on the ground by 6:15 am, and considering the time it takes to land, the actual flight time felt even shorter. Since we paid so much for this flight, we really wanted to enjoy every minute of this experience and were disappointed that it was cut even shorter. See screenshots below for timestamps of our flight on April 27th 2025. You can also see an image of us on the ground and so many other balloons still flying.
Another point worth mentioning: we stayed very low to the ground for more than half of the journey, just skimming above the trees, while most other balloons soared much higher. It definitely took away from the overall experience.
All in all, it was a nice ride — but definitely not worth the insane price we paid.
***Helpful Tip for Future Travelers:***
After our flight, we learned that a company called Voyager Balloons is considered one of the best companies to fly with. If you book ahead, their price was only about 10€ more (around 210€). We also found a site called Balloon Scanner, where you can find last-minute flights at much better rates — we saw options for 240€/250€ just two days out. Hopefully this info helps you if your flight gets canceled!
Unethical practices carried out at Anatolian balloons by Tarik. Don’t book with them under Airbnb experiences. They will cancel at last minute to sell your tickets on the black market. We were told that they were not flying due to bad weather. If that were so, all other balloons would also be grounded. However more than 170 balloons actually flew that morning. (If Anatolian balloons allows the airbnb experience host to promote them with their pictures then they too should take some responsibility). I will remove the post as requested when Mr Tarik replies my messages to explain and compensate. Besides why let him advertise with your company if you don’t want any responsibility with how he carries out his business.
The flight is a great experience but NOT with Anatolian balloons. We took off just after sunrise (among the last ones), we hovered "above the bushes", only a small part of the flight was higher (1000 m above the ground),. The flight took only 45 min, not 60 minutes as promised. The pilot was trying to get a tip for the crew (despite the high price of the flight and an average experience), ... In short, the flight YES, but choose a better provider...
Experiencia maravillosa. Los pilotos geniales y aunque se complicó le recogida de pasajeros por la nevada de los días anteriores nos cuidaron en todo momento. Volveré a volar con ellos y los recomendaré 100%. Gracias a todo el equipo.
Κάναμε αερόστατο με αυτήν εταιρία .Φοβερηηηη εμπειρία απίστευτος πιλότος μας πήγε κοντά στα βράχια τόσο κοντά που αγκιξαμε με τα χέρια μας τη γη .Απαλή απογειώσει δεν κατάλαβενες ποτέ έφυγες και το ίδιο έγινε και με την προσγειώση.Πήραμε βραβείο και οι φωτογραφίες που σε βγάζουν είναι μοναδικές αξίζει να τις αγορεσετε πιστέψτε με !!! Δεν έχουν καμμία σχέση με αυτές που βγάζετε μόνοι σας.Ευχαριστούμε πολύ τον πιλότο Αλί και τον βοηθό του Καντίρ.τρομεροι και οι δύο .επιλέξτε την εταιρία για την δραστηριότητα του μπαλονιού εμείς το κάναμε και μας έμεινε έξεχαστη !!!!
